New Wine "Charminer" - a real Charmer!!

Thank you to all those who entered into the rename Chardonnay Traminer competition. What a huge success this campaign was. Charminer is our best selling wine, fruity, zingy with a unique flavour that just lingers, you won't taste anything else like it.

Charminer will always remain a blend of Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer grapes.

We had well over 500 entrants and many fantastic names. All prizes were presented to those whom made a short list and over 100 bottles of wine were given away as spot prizes. Sorry if you did not receive a prize but we very much appreciate your involvement in this competition.

A short list of selected names were researched and 250 wine consumers were surveyed to decide on the most preferred name. As a result Charminer was the winner!

It is very exciting for Vilagrad Winery as this wine will be distributed nationally. It will reach the entire Waikato by the end of August and the rest of New Zealand at the beginning of October. Watch out for this wine and its release campaign.

Once again thanks to everyone who got involved, it has been such a great campaign and we are all looking forward to Charminer's release.
